L Plated Scootahs / Peds - Aren't They Wonderful?????

This vid makes my blood boil - because being undertaken by L Plated Twats happens to me about once every 2 months or so…

…so far they miss my ankles by about 4 MM and no harm is done…but ONE day…

…but what pisses me off is the mentality - I suspect it’s "I can ride faster than you Mr Big Biker, cos i’m clever and don’t obey the rules’

Grrrrrr

what lovely language :stuck_out_tongue:

When i used to ride my 50cc i always tried to just let everyone pass me cause i knew that i will take like half an hour to overtake and i had no experience but some of these chavs stick a loud exhaust and 70cc kit and they think that their skill and experience increases

I think the wheelie away at the end demonstrates beautifully his level of skill. dick.

I’m SURE that this is the twat that cut me up too!

But they all dress the same,

T-shirt , grey hoodie, tdark blue trackies, cheap trainers and the cheap helmet bouncing around on thier noddle ( probably not even secured)

Also they sit on their peds in the same way, cool-like legs akimbo giving it large…

grrr I must get out more

Don’t quite get why the guy he hit was so calm

Had one hooning around our road this afternoon, cargo shorts, t-shirt, lid not done up, left leg dangling foot almost on the floor, wheelie-ing past groups of kids in the park. Monumental bell end is all I can say

I Live 100 meters from a College, i get them constantly trying to show off. I’m just waiting for one of them to do themselves a serious injury, just hope noone else gets taken out in the process

My heart was in my mouth for the rider who got crashed into. I would L.O.V.E to have dragged him off the ped and ran his right hand over. What an absolute nobjob!

What an absolute pleb, luckily I don’t really see that many on my commute. It is usually dispatch/delivery riders on scooters and they are generally pretty good.

Watch that again with the sound off, it takes two to tango

Aye Art - the leading biker hesitated a bit too much at the left turn, and was a bit too far out … but nowt major

Any sensible biker who sees him slow and realise he was thinking about turning left ( how many times dos that happen when we don’t know the area and need to read the street name to confirm?) would then overtake him with enough room to allow for him continuing straight again. He was only about a foot too wide and left plenty of room.

Scootah-pillock actually ACCELERATES and positions himself to UNDERTAKE - not only a too-small gap (Scootah-pillock showing off dangerously ) but a biker obviously deciding to turn left (Scootah-pillock totally mis-reading and failing to anticpate the bleeding obvious)

Lead bike did no lifesaver and had pretty crap road positioning for a left hand turn.
Sure the scooter shouldn’t have been there but it could shave been avoided by the lead bike- easy to say after the fact, I know.
Scootist is still a dick.

Dunno HogT …

If he had done a lifesaver he would have seen the pillock accelerating towards him on the inside and it would have been very , very lucky if he could have got out of the way.

The more I watch it the more I’m drawn towards the ‘L’ plater being less to blame than the other two idiots, apparently in this instance it took three to tango.

Yamahaha Pilot
having turned right off the roundabout was dithering
lined up and indicated for the first right then changed mind
late cancellation of right turn indicator and poor road position
attempted the first left without life saver with a very late left turn signal

FriskyRiderIdiot
distracts ‘L’ plater by revving his engine

Its all in the longer version of the video

At 1:42 the ‘L’ plater can clearly be seen to look around at the critical moment when the Yamahaha pilot SUDDENLY changes his turn signal from right to left, clearly distracted by the FriskyRiderIdiot revving his engine. Note the audio and visual are slightly out of sync (1:46 puts it into perspective when the ‘L’ plater appears to sound his horn after he fell off?)

The lead biker had his indicator on
I like the shall I go after him and beat the crap out of him bit

Art, I agree with what you are saying but that undertake was never on, only a complete bellend would go for that move. the other 2 are hardly shining examples of road craft, but even still, ped rider is a complete twat.

The scooter rider should have assumed a possible left turn and hung back, but he is a typical 16 / 17 year old and thinking back I made some stupid mistakes on bikes at that age,
And at the moment due to lack of cash I am on a 125 scooter and the most people who cut up on the inside are twats in cars…

They could all learn from this

Replace anyone of them - the impetuous scooter rider or, the dithering Yamahaha pilot or, FriskyRiderAlphaMaleIdiot with an alert forward thinking motorcyclist like myself Ross Kishan and this accident would probably never have happened

This video is missing so absolutely essential footage…at the end it should…cut to Rusty head shake.
