Just nicked ten mins ago (13:17, 18th Aug) from Pond Square in Highgate, my bro’s Orange KTM 950 SM, Reg LX06 DHU, with full Akras, tail tidy and RG crash protection.The bike will have had the lock barelled, and it’ll be ridden two-up or with another bike or scooters in company.
The bike was rolled away from Pond Square while my bro went indoors to fetch his gloves (IIRC) for 2 mins. They rolled it downhill, so either towards Archway or Camden, presumabley so they could barrel the lock out of sight.
If you see this bike, feel free to tackle to rider and break their legs (assuming he’s not my bro, having just got the bike back. He’s 6’2" and where Dainese and a TourX, not likely to be the kit of the scrote who is on it now.
The bike lookes like this, minus yellow number boards and redbull decal.
Note that the silver 950 SE grab rails are now replaced by top box fixing plate (top box not fitted), full Akras with blued downpipes (quite rare), RG tail tidy, mini indies, R&G kit, black engine cover (rare). I think there’s also a GPS mount now.
BLACK FRAME with 06 decals and grey wheels is **unique ** for an 06 bike.
oh dude - gutting - sorry to hear about this - will keep an eye out - will ride through highgate rather than suicide bridge on a scout on my way home later.
I’m pretty sure there is a 360 camera on the green there (I used to live on Makepeace Avenue) - check with Islington to see if you can get footage - or from one of the buses in the ‘square’/triangle. I think it’s the 271 that stops there and goes down to Camden?
C11 starts slightly down the hill outside kinda Mozarts on the bus shelter and also goes down into Camden. There’s also cameras down there by the School.
Please keep 'em peeled. That bike is out there being ridden by pikey scrotes as we speak.
From behind, look for RG tail tidy, topbox mount, carbon tipped akras (loud), and unusual black clutch cover - on an orange KTM (06 bodywork and decals, on 07 black frame - unique combo).
The riders will look too young, be in a group or maybe two up, and be wearing the wrong gear for an expensive KTM. LX06 DHU
