I planning to go to a curry house for my Birthday. Was thinking of Brick Lane (esp for those bagels afterwards), but does anyone know of a really good one around the Liverpool St area??
I’ve heard from friends that Monsoon on Brick Lake is both good and cheap - not been there myself yet though

If you want a “good” curry don’t go to Bricklane… “good” and “Brick Lane” cancel each other out… sorry
Find somewhere where they actually cook the meat IN the sauce for a start… and ANYWHERE that offers Free booze to get you in the door obviously isn’t worried about the quality of what you’re eating are they…
AGREED…hubby does the pest control to most the restaurants up there and unless you don’t mind dead cockroaches and dead mice in ya curry i’d seriously give it a miss:sick:
Ditto to both comments. I used to do a lot of gas breakdown work at these ‘restaurants’ and the kitchens are minging.
Agree with the comments above! Brick Lane is on our patch, and the restaurants there are not the nicest of places! 
Try The Curry Leaf near the old street roundabout. Anita had her birthday in there last year and it was lovely!
