Knee pads , under jeans.

I want to get some good knee pads to wear under my jeans when Im riding. Im often wearing my jacket with all its armour , but no knee or leg protection. Someone recommended wearing knee pads underneath my jeans… There are so many different types on ebay , Im not sure which ones to get…

any recommendations???

I use a pair of these (I bought from the site in the link, which I can recommend…very good service) under Draggin’ Jeans.

they look pretty good. Are the quite big though? Do you need to wear really baggy jeans to get them to fit underneath?

Yes…the Draggin’s are baggy.

I have seen a couple of couriers wearing them on the outside of their jeans though…

I use Knox knee armour. Retails at around £12-15 and if CE approved etc.

Has velcro so it attaches to the inside of the jeans themselves and you don’t have to mess about putting them on or off.

Works well inside my draggins.

Knees and hips here , again Knox velcro’d into Hood Jeans

for kneepads, i was given forcefield ones with draggin jeans i bought, but find that the velco strap which goes round the back of the knee starts to irritate after a couple of hours

With the Hoods the pads go in between the jean and the kevlar so you only have the feel of a odd beer towel against your knees.
