Klim Jackets

I need to buy a new jacket and am thinking of getting a Klim Gortex.

What do you think of them?

Any recommendations where to go to try them?

Thanks guys.

I don’t know whereabouts you are but Motolegends in Guildford is a major seller of KLIM gear , and other brands. They know their stuff.

Cheers mate.

Looks like a good call. I see they’re closed today.

About 15 years ago I got my Frank Thomas Aqua jacket with the idea that I could replace it 5 times compared to the reassuringly expensive Klim and Rukka kit. Here I am and it still keeps me warm and dry with whatever the UK weather can throw down, including 10 hours and 500 miles of heavy rain on a RBLR1000 two or three year back.

Thanks NT. are Frank Thomas jackets made as good today as they were 15 years ago?

klim are the rukka of the off road side of things.
Expensive, but really good quality, though ive not used one myself

Is anything? I went with FT on specification/cost, all the FT claims seemed to match the Klim and Rukka kit and worked for me.

The Klim Latitude has a huge number of vents, tons of storage with expandable pockets and little pockets in the sleeves to hold security cards. £631.
