That`s blooming horrible.

Whats horrible about it?

I don’t think I would commute on one. Just kinda a neat novelty item in my mind.

It`s not the type of bike i would buy geared or auto.

Yep… Nothing really practical about them!

I would use mine for short rides around the neighborhood just to screw around.

I like it!

Thats pukka

My Mate has imported several of them and is currently getting them ready for sale in 2009.
They are great looking bikes, and the ones he has will be able to be used by Learners.

Lovely looking little thing.

That is indeed a cool lookin lil bike.
If your 17 yrs old and into the custom scene and dream of building your own harley chop i can imagine this is just the dogs b*llocks .

Alot nicer looking than the old fantic chopper anyway

That thing’s great! Look at all those add-ons! :w00t:

I like the middle part of the name, too. They have taste.

where’s the engine?

I love 'em! I got seriously addicted to their message board last spring… the guys on there are really helpful and ready to give advice on every aspect of building these little bikes, quite a community!
But… the big question is, it’s a great classic 60’s San Fancisco frame (3/4 size) and the springer forks look cool on the 110cc model - they have brought out a 200cc now with standard forks - I think it would ultimately be a toy and not an everyday ride. I think the spec is 12 bhp or somewhere near that figure. I did enquire about putting, let’s say a XV400 lump in, or an XS650, only to be told the frame wouldn’t be strong enough. Still, if I could spare just under a grand, it’s be a lot of fun putting a bike together from scratch when it arrived in 5 boxes!
In any case, nice to see others have noticed it and have an opinion.

These kikkers are fun and different. i have 1 and work for the only people that sell them in the uk at the min:D

I love it! Very cool. Wouldn’t mind razzing around London on one for a bit.

I used to look on the Kikker forum a lot, and then I started asking questions about the name, i.e. is there are signigicance in the 3 'K’s in the the name?

A saw there were a few replies and a bit of a heated debate… and then the thread got DELETED by the moderator. Shame really, I was only asking…

So, go on then: how much are they and who sells them?

I had a look at the website of that workshop-chops but as soon as I went on their contact page, all my browser windows closed down. I think the work computer security is a bit nervous.

Look on youtube - there are loads of Hardknock videos there. You might find yourself getting a bit drawn into it! And you might end up downloading the whole Montrose album…

Ooops, sorry, I missed the link in the post above. I can see the WSC site, but it gives me no details about cost. Also, you’re saying that you build these things yourself, is that right?

If the price was right, I can see that being a great hobby thing to do.

If you order these from dealers in the States, you would get 5 boxes with all the bits in, and then you build it! Common problems I have heard about include leaking petrol tank and nuts and bolts coming loose - loctight is recommended. Also, people have had trouble with setting up the springer forks - but they do look great! I assume that imported Kikkers will already be assembled, so the fun of the build is removed. Then you’d have to think about registering it legally here and all that. But I still wanna see one up close!
