The second Ladies’ ride-out is being planned, exceptionally, for the third Sunday of June, i.e., 18 June. Normally, the rides take place on the second Sunday of each month, but that date this month has the British GP and the BMF Garden of England show competing for the attention, so we decided to move ours one week later.
This will be a one-day event, starting at the Ace in the morning (not too early, as Liliana can’t cope with early starts), and end up back at the Ace in the late afternoon/early evening.
Please put your names down here if you’d like to participate. Please copy the previous list and add your name to that, so we make sure nobody is dropped off and everybody is included. Please include your bike details, as well as if you’d like to be in the blast or pootle group, so we can get an idea of the number of escorts needed. This is flexible, though, so if at the Ace you decide you’d rather be in the other group, you can.
The plan is at the moment to have two routes, both finishing in the same destination at the same time, one for those out for a blast (e.g., Andrea) and one for those out for a pootle (me).
The route and the destination are still top secret, as they need to be tested and timed by the Routemaster. We will probably have four escorts for this trip, whose names will be made public later, but they are sworn to secrecy.

Dunno what the route is but there is bound to be places where one group’ll wait for the other. If not, there’ s no point in going on the same ride out is there ?
And I dunno how fast the fasties want to go, but surely it won’t be excess of the speed limit so they won’t get too far ahead anyway
