July 11th Trip to Lyme

Glad to see you got home OK Alex - but it looks like your photos of the Victorian serving wenches were censored:w00t:

try again…

not in correct order but you get the idea!

What time did you chaps get back?

I did a swift - glasto > frome > warminster > sailsbury > andover > basingstoke > london
although I came into south london which was ****! and HOT! Got back to watch the game in the pub though!!

Nice, thanks for the awesome ride out.

Guys

Thank you all for today’s ride. it was awesome…
Nice pics:cool:

Was thinking the exact same thing!

So when no one was looking, I got down on all fours and went to check it for myself. Next thing I hear “Jolly Good Sir!! … show some manners in public”, a tap on the head and a phone number. Guess I’ll find out soon enought ;)

Just did a double check and its exactly 374 miles on the dial :Whistling: piece of cake if you ask me

Thanks Latin Power and Ceinwen for the fine tailgunning and Jetstream for making me aware that I do have muscles in place I didn’t know existed :stuck_out_tongue:

Jamie, did the good luck charm work? or did it rain on your way home? :hehe:

Alex, think I owe you a lunch, see you on the next one

Thanks Jetstreams for organising and everyone else for a great time. Really enjoyed myself

Where were the sitting down taking tea pictures taken?

The sitting down outdoors pictures were of taking lunch in the centre of Glastonbury.

The Victorian tea room with serving wenches was an indoor affair - an antique-filled place in Bradford on Avon (a very pretty little town). We recommend it.

Looks as if Spere will be going again soon so he can show you the way:D Edit - forgot another one - the sitting down outside taking tea & ice cream was in Lyme Regis:)

I worked out the Lyme one! :stuck_out_tongue:

I should have recognised Glastonbury.

probably recognise it now

it was too hot this year…

Gutted I missed it. Took a look out the window in the morning and thought the weather looked a bit ropey, so told the wife I was going to give it a miss.

How gutted was I when the sun burned off the cloud and it turned out to be a lovely hot day…hey ho maybe next time.

I am aching alot today!
