July 11th Trip to Lyme

OK Folks

On the above date myself and two others so far are going to visit the legendary Mole.

On our way we propose a visit to the infamous Wookey Hole

(Indebeted to The Vicar for the previous format):slight_smile:

Usual rules apply - no nobbers (unless Complete) Harleys, 125s, etc, ride at your own risk. Its a rideout not a race, see the corneran system thread by Flatout at the top of the rideout section, this will be used.

Leave the Ace 9.00 am, back before dark.

No idea how far it is but reckon on 300 - 350 miles for those who care.

We know a good cream tea shop in Lyme Regis which used to supply ample jam but we’re not too sure after our last visit:D

Meryl will put in an appearance (agent says) but barring that the roads are good, see you at the Ace:)

Usual voluntary £2 donation to LAA funds - refusniks will be outed.

Oh man - sounds fun! I’ve always been curious about Wookey Hole too, but will keep my place with Tim’s outing.

some super awesome roads down there, I used to live in Taunton and ride past it to go to Swindow nearly weekly, super fast but safe roads, pegs down at 120, smooth and wide…

Sounds like a great ride, but I can’t make it… got a BBQ Sat eve so don’t expect to be in a state to ride at 9am on Sunday morning! lol! :smiley:

Will try to make the next one though, I’ve heard that the rides organised by Jetstream are worth doing! :wink:

im interested, but im going out tonight so i may be to hung over. SO if im there great, if not know that im regrettting it!!

I will hve my new bike, so will be taking it easy as i have to run her in!!

OK, coffee in Bradford upon Avon, a wizz through the Cheddar gorge, a fly-by visit to Wookey Hole as it`s naff and costs £16 to get in, Glastonbury and on to Lyme Regis (with lunch at some stage)

Special feature, skinny dipping at Lyme Regis with cream tea courtesy of the last one in the water.:smiley:

oooooooooooooooo love to dip my skinny :wink: torso in pretty much anything. But Lyme Regis is especially thrilling for a dip :slight_smile:

Sadly, though, I will be house hunting again (got 6 weeks to move out of our sold place)

We`ll miss your skinny torso but will post photos of the competition.

Not heard from Lagos Bleu and have not heard reports of a West African tsunami so all must be well, he only flew out last night so has probably not made it to the beach as yet.:smiley:
