Just to avoid any rumours flying about and to make sure that people are not worried… If you don’t have Jaime on FB you may not have heard he’s been taken into hospital a couple of days ago with chest pains. Turns out he’s had some virus that played games with his ticker - it caused myocarditis (diagnosed this evening) and he will be staying in for further testing just to rule out any other potential causes. They think they’ve addressed the virus so all should be good to go once the tests come back. Unfortunately it means he might have to stay in hospital over the weekend.
He’s in great spirits, being the same hyperactive and joking Jaime you see Fridays at the Ace - I mean if he turned serious he would be in ICU now!
If you want to visit him he’s at the Heart Hospital and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind (and neither would the nurses as he keeps bugging them for stuff!) as he seems to get quite bored - I think this is the longest period of time he’s sat still!
Depending on which ward he’s in the only restrictions to visiting hours I’ve seen has been 12pm-2pm… Obviously don’t go in huge groups as the wards are quite small!
Morning LB!! All is well. No heart attack! Well, I might be giving the nurses heart attacks lol. Apparently you’re not allowed to unplug yourself from the ECG machine to go to the loo cause the machine thinks I’m dead hahahaha (",)
They’ve been real good to me so far but I have been running low on patience and eager to get home.
Tuesday was the only real scare when I was originally admitted to paddington via wittington and went straight into theatre. Was told the scenario ranging from just a scan which included a lovely 2inch cut in the groin and a dye tube inserted from there all the way up to my ol ticker (I got this one) or full on chest open heart surgery (didn’t happen but surprisingly, I stopped joking about and started sharting myself)
Drama all over now. All vitals are good. Just waiting for the inflammation around the heart to stop or at least go down until they decide to release me.
Gotta say a massive thanks to Alex, Claire, Thamer, Jimbo, Karleig and Daniel for popping in for a visit and nicking all my sweets (bastards (",) just kidding) live u guys
Also a massive thanks to my sister who, in her infinite wisdom/pisstaking bought me The Daily Mail and a copy of Heat mag.

Blimey Jaime you’ve been on a rollercoaster and a half, must have been proper scary hearing about the surgery option.
You are in the best place for you to be at the moment, just be sure to make the most of all that female attention you’re getting. Try offering the more attractive nurses a ride on your bike when you’re well, that’s always a good icebreaker lol.
