We went to the one in Greenwich about 3 weeks ago, yes they did have 20% off everything, they had “New Year Sale” on the window - obviously trade is a bit slow atm:)

Call me cynical but yesterday I went into the New Malden branch looking for a light pair of gloves for round town in the summer, found a nice plain black pair of A* short gloves, but all the price labels had been removed. Tried on a pair of mediums, fitted fine and part of the price label was still on there, Had 29. and the rest was missing. Bargain I thought, 29.99 - 20% = 24 quid.
Went to the till, asked the guy how much they were, £39.99 he replied.:w00t: So £39.99 - 20% = 32 quid.
So maybe £30 quid originally, now £32 quid in the sale :w00t: Bargain eh ! Realise that the hanger could have been used for another product before, was gonna check it out with the manager, who I know quite well but he was busy so just left it. Maybe i’ll pop in again this week sometime and double check.

The 20% off sale has been going since Christmas. Stock levels are low though so many sizes and colours they no longer have, for example, I am after new helmet but the size and colour I want has never come into stock since January. The reductions are genuine though. I have bought a helmet for Jackie at 20% off the going rate for that helmet and bought a pair of Kevlar Jeans as I have gone down a size. Paid £59 less 20% = £47. Last year I paid £59 for the old pair. The old pair was advertised on here for £20, but I got £46.10+ postage for them on ebay so paid about a £1 for a new pair!
I’ve been to the New Malden branch several times and never seen anything reduced to 50%. It 20% of all stock though.
I got a pair of jeans at the end of January before the sale ended, but when i asked the guy behind the counter, he reckoned the 20% off would probably be on all year round, to keep trade moving!
