Abstainers are an integral part of the british democracy.

It has to be Bushmills black label

Glengoyne 17 yr old, Obans, Poit Dubh 12 yr old un chill filtered, Rosebank 17 yr old, Kilbeggen, Laphroig, Lagavulin, Dalmore, Bowmore, Longmore CV 12 yr old and too many others to mention.

if its whiskey, of course its gota be bushmills, theres no contest!

but im biased

plus ive been to the bushmills distillery, oldest place in world to have licence to distill whiskey

Scots single malts please yum yum. Faves are Talisker, Springbank, Dalwhinnie, Oban if bottled more than 5 or 6 years ago, and all of the others at least once

Dinnae gie me yon Irish screwtap-bottle pish, disnae compare at a’.

Sorry lad, recycled **** water does not pass grade. Scots Whisky for me. Bushmills is not that bad, but simply does not have the body and character of a decent Scots single malt. I’ve been to a few distilleries too.

In the cupboard I currently have:

DoubleWood 12 year old 40%

Chivas Regal 12 year old 40%

Bowmore Islay 16 year old limited 1991 bottle 53.1%

Cragganmore 12 year old 40%

Oban 14 year old 43% (first bottle that I purchased in 2002).

Says it all really, never tried either Irish or Canadian. Have tried some of the american bourbons, and whiskies and I do like them.

No contest, it has to be a Scottish malt. Straight up after dinner and perhaps a Famous Grouse blended before dinner, with spring water, no ice.

Sadly I stopped drinking over a year ago. :crying:
