There’s just far too many for me to make sense of!
Just wondering if you guys have some favourites which are worth checking out? 
Sky+ is quite a cool one for catching films when you’re not around. (free) 
I’d recommend:
Flixster - Cinema info, times etc.
Guitar Toolkit - If you play guitar of course
Natwest - I think other banks do their own too.
Tube Status - Tells you delays and closed lines etc.
Sky Sports Score Centre - Self explanatory
Pocket Alan - Ahaaaa!
As for games:
Enigmo
Fieldrunners
Angry Birds
Modern Conflict
I have loads more but most of them are rubbish…
To be fair, that is “latest” iPhone apps, not necessarily the best ones.
I don’t use many apps, in fact, I wish I could download an App for my iPhone that would allow me to make telephone calls without incident, that would probably be the best app for me.
Or an App that stopped the iPhone saying “No Sim Installed” every time it is moved slightly. Now that would be an awesome app.
Other then that, Sat Nav is quite useful for the iPhone, and a good cheap alternative to Garmin/TomTom bike versions. Downsides, mainly the battery, but once you sort out a charger that runs off your battery that downside is gone. Did have an early problem with it being a bit naff, but then I read the instructions and realised you can’t keep the iPhone in an inside pocket as it distorts contact with the Satellites.
Words with friends, allows me to slack off work and play scrabble with friends 
Whatsapp, another way for me to slack off work chatting to friends who have iphone’s and blackberry’s
Doodle jump, addictivie game…more slacking
Angry birds…yet more slacking
Fat booth, helps see what you might look like if you had a few too many cakes!
type n talk, great for annoying the hell out of people by answering their questions through this lol
There are so many more useful apps but I prefer the non serious one’s
Oh, RAC traffic always come in handy before I set off for a journey too
