My cousin worked in the Herford Grill as a lad and after hearing his tales, no way would i ever eat in there:w00t::hehe:I used to like The Sultan in Enfield Highway but when i went past the other day I noticed it is now a Mediterranean Fish Restaurant. Sounds interesting:cool:

1860 in South Croydon.
It is South African Curry, but according to my Indian colleagues is the closest they have tasted to being in India.
Guess it’s what you are used to, I grew up on this style and love it. Being a Durbanite, I would quite often have a bunny chow for lunch. Was very glad to see 1860 do them.
No don’t worry it isn’t rabbit!! It’s curry which is put into hollowed out bread, served with grated carrot and chillies, you eat it with your hands…

Parking is a bit of a problem, but isn’t too far to walk to a parkade, bus, tram or train.
enjoy.
