Well if anyone out there actually has missed my troublemaking assanine and boring contributions then hi I am still alive just settling in to a new house/town/area…(can I still be part of your gang if I dont live in London anymore?!) lol beginning of Dcember I moved into a new place down on the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire border with my girlfriend. What with no internet/cable/landline/satalite dish its been great! the 40 mile ride to work and 40 mile ride home has been fun too. Thinking of holding a braai (bbq) soon as I now have the garden to do it in! oh yeah… merry merry and happy happy and all that crp…bah humbug anyway

Went to a New Years Day Barbie a few years back. You know exactly how the weather will be, kincold, so you dress to suit. Lots of hot protein and at least you can depend on the beer being well chilled.
Son and friends had a few in Canada a couple of years back when it was -10c, or there abouts, and they had to keep the gas and the beer inside to stop the stuff freezing. Greasy ski/snowboarding gloves became the fashion that year.
It’s less daft than standing around a bonfire in early November waiting for the potato in foil to explode, and you have less chance of rain in January than you do in August.

I am down in Blackwater Tricksie…its in Hampshire but has a guildford post code…and across the Hampshire/Surrey border u turn left into Berkshire to go shopping…??? u should hear me on the phone trying to set up my utilities bills…
anyway its great down here quiet and my neighbour works in the same copshop as me. I gotta 90ft rear garden so loadsa space and one of the oldest rock clubs in the uk (alledgedly) AginCourt which rocks out nicely on a saturday
I know it, am often down the A30. and not too far from Deepcut Bends too you lucky man
