Had just left home this morning and got to a major roundabout before joining the A1.
In the middle lane of the 3 lane roundabout there are two small wooden sleepers that must have fallen off a lorry
All the cars just driving round them. swerving all over the road.
I jump off and move one as a police car turns up and moves the other.
No idea how long they had been there but no bugger would take 2 minutes out of their day to remove a potentially fatal obstacle from the road.
Also came across a police road check this morning which was my first and to be honest wish we had more
Have a nice day
hi, good on you for that.
selfish public doing the usual, as usual.
turned up at one motorcycle fatal, first on scene with many driver’s just ‘going around’ the victim!, a few taking some camera phone snaps!.

That’s just sick ![]()
People make my blood boil!
you’d be surprised just how really insensitive motorists are even when we are on scene!.
My wife was dealing with a very ill patient and some c*** in a taxi kept asking her to move the ambulance, and how long she would be.It happened about four times until the husband of the patient kicked off and started shouting at him
Another time, she’d had to park the ambulance and effectively had to block a side road to go and deal with a resucitation. Another person asked if she’d be long parked there. I don’t think my “delicate flower” was too polite
