I’m not usually this cheeky, but seeing as it is for charity - the rule book goes out the window and I’m going to be shameless in asking you all for money… **Even if it’s only £1 - every penny helps.
**
I’m doing a 450ft abseil down the side of Guy’s Hospital on Sunday May 25th in aid of ** The Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy ** . I’ve never been much of a marathon runner, so felt the abseil was more my thing.
If you would like to sponsor me, please visit my fundraising page at:
If you fancy having a go at the abseil yourself, then there may still be places left; dates are Sat 24th & Sun 25th May. It costs £25 to register and you need to raise a minimum of £200 sponsorship. Yo can get details at: http://www.jtsma.org.uk/guys_abseil_may_2008.html
I did the school trip abseiling thing too, but more recently I have done a bit of it at work in the form of rope access (which is the industrial version I suppose) Even still… nothing like 450ft.
Even if you’ve never abseiled before they will teach you on the day. I hope the weather is OK that day.
