I need help...

…and when help is needed what’s better then LB.com??

So, I wanted to replace the headphones from my phone with better, aftermarket ones. But I wanna keep the thingy with buttons to answer the calls. I cut the wires and wanted to connect the new headphones with this thing with buttons but it came out that the job is too delicate for my fingers. Is anyone handy with soldering iron?? It’s a 5 min work…Or if not, maybe anyone knows any electronic repairs in central London?

I would really appreciate that…

I am hopeless with anything remotely linked to tools and have no idea of any repairers, therefore no help at all

I just felt you deserved a reply and to bump it back to the top

Thx Jono

Strip the wires down and twist them together. You can either use a bit of solder or if you have twisted well enough anyway, insulation tape over the top.

For a neater and better job get some crimps and use them.
