I got to agree with Cez yet again …and nothing to do with him seeing the light (look at he,s avitar) why should he take he,s valuable time to give imput on another forum about a subject that they know all about already !..they have had complaints from people before and if its said they havent then they must be riding in an area where deaf people have amassed in force !!

Its plain and simple that they are attending a meet that was solely negociated by Londonbikers.com and acting in that manner is creating the negative pressure that all bikers normally suffer but in this case its only victim will be The Londonbiker Member Collective !!
If Cez took the time to politely address a couple of fellow bikers and got a nod back in agreement then it gave him the impression that the advice was taken onboard and appreciated.
Then…to have the people instantly leave, blasting the decibels out then to me that means one thing…“F**k You Mate” !!!
Me personally…It would be f**k you too and dont come back !!!

I agree, it’s not right to go nuts on the throttle in a residential area. Admittedly the storm’s not the quietest of bikes, but I do go very slowly down the residential area when I leave.
Go for it Cezar! I look forward to the wednesday night meets and it’s a shame it’s spoilt by a few bods who can’t exercise restraint with their right hand. Maybe they should be doing other things with their right hand instead?

I had no idea! I have nothing against VD, as I said I have never been there but I have the stats from them and Knowing how much work it is to keep a site like theirs I have to give them nothing but my respects.
This is just to prove my fears and worries. If a member behave badly the site should be blamed??? If heir come from VD, I will never judge the site runners work by their actitude! Never!
Barro is spot on on that! My time is really short and I have LB to run, saying that I will need the help of the community on two major moves for our site. Keep an eye open for a help call soon!

I agree with Barro - he’s taken the time to go over and chat and the guys have just gone for it. I doubt they even thought about it - they do that all the time.
Looking at the visordown thread it looks like they are part of a regular team who go to Frith too so its not as if they are unaware of the noise issue.
P.S its good to see I’m not alone on this one!
Well doesnt matter who does it but if something isnt done it will just be closed down wont it?

May I add to the suggestion that a nice polite posting on the supermoto forum on VD may well pay dividends. If it doesnt the we know for sure that they dont give a shit and can act accordingly.

I just wanted to make that plain - I have no axe to grind re supermotos or Visordown just unnecessary noise! 
Macp, agree with you there and I am going the supermoto route with the DRZ soon. We need to make EVERYONE understand that this is a current example of what we dont want to happen at the Cubana, anywhere outside of that area it up to each of us as to what we do and how we play. I understand one of the KTM riders was taken out by a u tuning car on his way home last night and I hope he OK.

I am one of the KTM riders from last night. Thanks for the warm welcome.
When we were leaving last night one of the guys (from here?) came over and made a positive comments about the sound of Ben’s exhaust, so he blipped the throttle.
Then a bunch of girls and guys (from here?) to our right said “more more” so we (2 of us!) obliged - for a grand total of about 5 seconds.
Then some guy came over and asked us to stop - not very politely - but we apologised and stopped, as his point was clear and obvious. End of story.
We are bikers just like you lot. And like many Bandit riders, Hornet Riders, SV Riders, we sometimes like to ride together. It’s not a crime, or weird. FFS There was only 5 of us.
We were very chuffed to be made welcome on our first visits, and like you, we value the hospitality and quality of the Cubana experience so we don’t want to lose it anymore than you do, so we’ll certainly make an effort to be quiter - now that we have been asked - but stop whinging like a bunch of old grannies over a tiny incident that won’t be repeated. I can’t believe it merited 4 pages of rants. You must be very bored.
