Thats not on - but then again - Spain went around conquering this and that and played a large part in the slave trade - maybe some of that thinking still lives on but I dont want to tar everyone with the same brush so i’ll shut up on thaqt score because I dont know enough.
On the other hand though - I really dont think racists would go to the trouble of “blacking” their faces - you hate them so you make yourself look like one? I just dont get it. I reckon the story is real but the pics were of fans…who knows, either way, I’m surprised F1 stands for it. You’d think that the ticket prices would be out of reach of most ignorants!!
i know we are not perfect in the UK, and our past was similar to the Spanishbut at least here someone would now get a record for that sort of blatant racism

I’ll be honest, and I must apologise to any Spanish people that may use the site, but my experience of Spain is that its a very racist country. I’m not saying all Spaniards are racist, but the underlying feeling I got was that racism was more of an acceptable stand point than the UK. Then you’ve got strong feelings amongst the ill-educated and blatantly stupid cross-section of the public, and a view that the Spaniard who they would support like we would support Hamilton got the rough end of the stick, when realistically he was the senior “Championship proven driver” - Had Alonso joined Williams when Mansell had just won the championship and given Mansell as much of a run for his money, there’d have been some pretty vocal anti Spanish voices. That’s not to say they’re right, just the combination of circumstances plus a more racist general outlook makes this sort of stupidity and intolerance acceptable where we’re disgusted by it…
But look at how Ashley Cole was treated in the England Squad when they visited Spain… look at how Chimbonda was treated in Sevilla. The Ultras at Milan still shout “Monkey” and the Italian equivalent of N!gg@h at their own team players…
Its a sick sad world full of stuipid people and who’re never held accountable for their actions… I blame the liberals myself, Political correctness, turn the other cheek, give them another chance… how many chances do these racists scumbags deserve? Bring back public hanging and execution at gun point for anyone who doesn’t think exactly like me I say…
