I have a solution to catch prolific motorcycle theifs

Place a bait motorcycle of 08 plate, preferbaly a cbr or gxsr with tracker + remote video and sound recording. Leave it in central london somewhere. You will catch the scums in 2-3 hours. Also you can put high voltage on the bike.

and who supplies the bait?

how come some bikes even with tracker never get recovered??

ont

I dont know ask the theifs.

chop their hands off. not much thieving after that.

Bait vehicles are ok, but…

Get him to court, preferably overnight with no bail if he repeatedly offends on bail.

The judge gives him a suspended sentence, and £150 fine, and hes back out two hours later…

To jump back on another bike stolen to order for the crime boss up the chain above him. Get paid a few hundred quid and pay off his fine at court.

The weakness is in the penalties served by the justice system…no longer a deterrent to repeat offenders.

you are a genius, problems solved. If we are lucky the remote video might even catch a biker down on the way to catch them

:hehe:

Weren’t there a bunch of guys up north a few years ago who set bait and then hid in a nearby van clutching baseball bats? I think it was in Bike mag; they busted some toerags leg in the process. Not terribly legit, of course, but then neither are the perps.

Nice idea I’m up for that. I would like to place it at my work so I can catch the scums that took my bike!
Or even wait for the people to come and take it and follow them to their lock up, I’m sure you would find a nice collection of peoples bikes there.

Maybe we could all at london bikers (or who ever wants to join) purchase a non runner and put some 08 plates on and work in shifts to watch over and follow it when it gets lifted…

I would happily wrap a baseball bat around each one of their heads…

similar ideas are:

to catch a human eating wolf, place a crying baby as a bait
to catch a rapist, use a beautiful girl as a bait:D

:D:D:D

As long as its not a three year old bike

My kids call me the King of Sarcasm  Not sure why :Whistling:

Yeah I remember that one, not sure if they still exist now…
