Mate…You’re lucky it wasn’t the same armed coppers that pulled us last time.
Probably mentioning that you were about to do a Bikesafe wouldn’t work again…huh?
Phew, that coulda been a lot worse !
What bike was it ?
that was a lucky escape Gromit.
one of ya nine lives gone there chap for sure…
This kinda answers your other post regarding whether to sell or keep… I would def keep her now as you seem to have something special going on with your bike.
But echo everyone else in saying your a lucky so and so Shane;)
Very fortunate, and what a good copper too, what would have been gained by a summons and ban . . . nothing.
I can’t imagine there is a copper out there goading on bikers, there’s enough bikers doing that !
Its the way I always deal with police, fine it may make me look like a goody two shoes, but if you admit you’re caught and don’t fight em, they’re usually so shocked that they show their good side… so many muppets try and pull a fast one, which is just insulting that when they catch the rare guy who says “Yup, you got me, I’m not arguing”, unless they’re utter Barstewards, you usually get a good result…
I got done for 105 on the M1, told the officer he was right I was an idiot, he said, first time I’ve heard that in a long time, get out get back in yer car and don’t do it again… didn’t even get points or even a written warning.
…
Just wondering why that road is a 40 limit? Is it a built up area with lots of schools etc?
Was he really that good Shane:smooooth:
Sounds like you had a right touch there!!!
A great example of policing! It is far better to receive a telling off from an officer than receiving a notice from a Gatso!
I know it’s far more cost effective to collect fines from a machine, but surviving on the road is about education.
I wish we could bring back the days when there were many patrols on the road catching dangerous uninsured drivers who don’t even have their car registered to their name!
Now the machines just fine the good guys! :w00t:
well done bud , well dodged.
still cant work out whos bike you were on doing 80mph …
I hope you zipped him up and cleaned up after?
