Yes, I put new tyres on it on Friday (Bridgestone BT45 front and rear) & filled it with petrol 
so how long did the last ones hold out for and as for filling it up with petrol at least youll be able to get down to borough market now 
The last rear tyre lasted 8,000 miles (since July last year, and that’s with 5 1/2 months snowed in). The front one I don’t know, it came with a wheel I bought and was probably a few years old judging from the cracks in it…
Now I can finally asphalt-surf with confidence again, even if it means I’m ****-skint this week, but it’s all good
