I take my helmet in my hand and introduce myself. Just joined LB. Tasha “Foxy” told me about you when I collected my bike from Jeff Murphy’s Riverside in Putney (btw, very helpful team!).
Checked it out and hopped on board.
Met a few of you guys at the General Forum already. Thank you for your warm welcome. Feels like a cool place to hang around.
Few words of introduction: originally from an obscure small country (the one that most people “drive through” on their way to somewhere else), came to London for a six month stint on a job twenty years ago. Never left.
Been biking for 29 years: Yamahas, Kawa, Hondas (remember the Four?) etc. was converted to H-D 10 years ago when I saw Easy Rider with Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson. The whole thing got under my skin, still does. now i am riding a chopped softail custom.
I am day dreaming about the day I get my act together to hop over to the US and do Route 66 or the West Coast. (note to self: find a forum on fellow “Easy Rider” enthusiasts/nutters).
