How to find what bike a pair of ohlins springs fit

well have been given a pair or linear ohlins front springs.

Was wondering how I would find out what bike they fitted.

Thanks

Get the tape measure out and measure the OD and spring free length first. Does it still have a visible marking telling you the spring rate as well?

Well the springs are 390mm long (ish) and circa 38mm wide.

The spring is marked, scratched on the bottom -80L.

The springs are linear not progressive.

Well that helps a bit. At that free length the’re definitely road springs - probably for conventional rather than upside down forks, at that diameter for a 43mm or maybe 44mm stanchion and the 80L probably stands for 0.8kg/mm Linear. Now the hunt is on to find bikes with that stanchion diameter.

Where can I find the info?

Cheers
