I would really apreciate getting an idea of the average height here… reading reviews of bikes is not helpful if the rider says
‘I’m quite short’
or
‘I’m quite tall’
I’m 5’6’’ incase anyone was wondering…

I’m 6’-1"…and ride a 2007 Suzuki M109-R. It “fits” me perfectly…though I read alot of moaning from short guys who own one…they usually have to buy riser extensions to make the ergos work for them. shrug

5"6 ride a 600 bandit which is nearly too high, it’s a stretch.
glad to hear someone else say that the bandit is heavy - don’t feel so bad now when i dropped it
Im 58" ride a Gilera Nexus which the seat height is a bit high.

ride a CBF600 find it fine,
was on a PS125 for a while but couldnt see the mirrors (had to duck down) if I didnt wear my open face helmet
6 foot, ride an R1, Bandit 600, and a load of old 70’s and 80’s two strokes…the old bikes feel smaller than the new bikes…but they are all mostly in the 250 to 750 range, Mind you the GT 750 is bloody heavy but very low down …not like the R1 or Bandit which carries its weight a bit higher…

everyone knows my bike - but i did have to have it all lowered especially for me, including the seat being re-moulded.
