Everybodies a fuggin comedian :doze:
Can of lighter fluid and a match sees them off.
i just buy a load of oranges and apples and offer them to any kids who knock
most just turn their noses up at this cause the treat’s not laden with sugar and e-numbers, so everyone’s a winner (except them!)
whats wrong with you lot eh?..
come on…trick or treating is about the kids…its an excuse for them to stay up all night telling ghost stories and stuffing there faces with all the candy the’ve gotten threwout the evening…its a holiday for christ sake…and a bloody good one too…!!
i really do miss the lengths people used to go to when i was a kid growing up in the states…propper grotto’s you had to walk into to receive your candy…thousands of kids walking about all dressed up…it was fantastic!!!
ive got my pumpkin all warmed up and ready to scare!!!
woooaaa!!!
smiled:D.
aye in the states it is a big thing but not here… frankly around my area they don’t even bother dressing up, just come around knicking.
I will probably just turn the lights off and watch TV upstairs…
This is a task assigned to the canine member of the family
Jackie and I had just got home at about 7.20 when a bunch of the local Vikki Pollards dressed as fairies arrived outside. I was unpacking some shopping from the bike and whilst the rest of the girls went next door, one came towards me and said “Trick or treat!” I reached under the seat of my bike and offered her a 25p cabbage! The guinea pigs are so much more appreciative!

One advantage of being one of the very few houses in a high street, we rarely get them calling. Easier target areas close by. Good.
It’s another stupid American import I can live well without.

At some point, Halloween became an excuse for an “early guy fawkes and set fire to the communal bins and stairwells night”
Last year I had 4 girls and a female parent knock.
The first 3 girls got a milky bar, and as the 4th gurl was a bit chubby, I gave her a choice of a apple or banana.
You should have seen the look Mum gave me!
Ms DP was laughing so much I thought she was going to wet herself.
its funny but since i had my front door fitted with the hinges the wrong way so it opens out, ive had the knocking but when i open the door there never seems to be anybody there, though sometimes there is a strange Thudding noise… then every now and then an ambulance …

Why not spray your wellies silver and leave them by the door.Kids will keep away if they think Gary Glitter lives there.
My dad has a CO2 fire extinguisher which he attaches to a hose running out the window and into the porch. We open the door just as we fire the extinguisher and watch them $hit it
I just say “Ooooh! Treat, please!”
Then nick their sweets.
