Had a look at one today , does anyone have an opinion as to its worth on the roads only , no track stuff ( yet )
Having a PC3 fitted and was tempted to get it done at the same time.
TIA

i have the old version qs hm did on my ktm. they are cool bits of kit m8. full throttle gear changes makes the bike pull so much better:cool: some say they only are worth it for track but there good for roads also.
if you get it from hm i’d have them set it on the dyno to get it perfect set up:)
They are mate , thats why I thought kill 2 birds !!
Only problem is its me last 200 sheets and once its done its done !
ad another £100 to that m8:blink: do you still have to manualy change gear or is it thumb operated? the old type i got has a micro sensor in the lever that senses movement then cuts the engine. i snapped the lever off at cadwell and cost £127 for a new lever:w00t:
Its a manual shift still , just clutchless !
Ok so I had it put on , BIG SMILES on the way home !!!
Makes no difference on the road, at the track it can smooth things out, but it won’t make you any faster
I had one on my K4 750 and it ate the gearbox, so be warned.
Cheers for the heads up Jay !
Im still using the clutch and rolling off as before , just nice when I aim for the gaps to just bang it !
probably not set right mate, if if cut off time is low it will do that
i do notice a big difference in the pull of the bike off the lights. there is no hesitation or lose of power at all.
might be a bit different on sport bikes with injection but the moto loves it:cool:
I was massively simplifying the experience mate, but needless to say, it was set right and checked, double checked and triple checked. In the end the manufacturer rebuilt the engine because they knew their product did the damage.
What make was it then?
K4 750.
no no no…the quickshifter ???
