Been a member for a little while now, but thought I’d introduce myself as I’ll be in Penderel’s Oak tonight and it looks like I might meet a few of you!
My name’s Nikki, I’m nearly 30 and I’ve been riding since I was 15. Past bikes are Honda MT50, Yamaha RXS100, Yamaha TZR250R 3XV, Honda CBR400RR NC29 and more recently a Honda CBR900RR FireBlade in Urban Tiger colours. Currently bikeless, but should be getting something else soon, though it’ll probably be small and old cos money’s a bit tight!
What I’d really like is a 2002/3 954 FireBlade, but I’ve found myself considering a Buell Firebolt lately, like the idea of a torquey bike with the dimensions and handling of a 250 sports bike!
Anyway, hope to meet those of you attending tonight, though I have no idea how I’ll identify you! I’ll probably be wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans, and have long blonde hair, so if you see me please come and say hi!
Everyone else, hope to meet you at a meet/rideout in the late summer, just hope this bl**dy weather sorts itself out!!
thanks for mentioning Penderel’s Oak - hadn’t seen about it so will now be trying my best to get along - unless the ‘appocalypse now’ tribute that the weather seems to be playing out prevents all efforts!
