She said, “Keep the R1, I was falling asleep”.
It was very comfortable, especially the pillion seat, but the wallowy suspension and snatchy fueling were very off putting.
Erm…So I won’t be coming in for one.
However, I saw you had a few ZX10Rs in at a good price… :laugh:
Go for a vfr pre-vetec or the latest one! I love my 2001 vfr and its is very comfortable!
Told you, you wouldn’t like it (and the missus) your not that old or have problems with your back!
The ZX10 (04/05) model is completely different to the R1 - its more old school, you have to wrestle it - but definately worth the ride every time you get off it! (don’t fit a steering damper - thats the whole point of it not having one)

i tried the VFR before i gor my R1 and i have to say i thought the same thing the VFR never really gave me the buzz, but the R1 is the best.

Also tried a Vtec VFR, didnt like the snatchy throttle either…
