I actually read this all the way through once. I also read something that utterly refuted it! Who to believe eh?
Blimey. Your right. A cup of tea is needed.
My conclusion? Do what I’ve always tried to do. Buy a helmet that is a comfortable, good fit and try not to fall off.
If the “experts” can’t agree what’s good and bad, why the f*** should I be expected to get my buying right?
A bit worrying how low my ASI rating has got. Must remember it’s now even more important not to fall off.
Now will some one, please, pay attention to helmet noise levels? Not falling off but having tinitus don’t seem that great an alternative.
I wear ear plugs on longer faster rides.
With you there Oldguy. I hate ear plugs. I just can’t get on with them. Noise and fit are always a major factors in my helmet choice.
I don’t rely on all these tests… I always do the test myself
yup that’ll be a pass then just as well you wore a full face from the look of those scratches.
It’s not the scratches that concern me, look at the fracture along the jaw line.
