Hello LondonBikers

Hi all,

I’m dani, just wanted to say hi to everyone on here. Hope you are all well?

I’m planning on getting a second hand bike in the next weeks. Last Saturday I went to 1stlinemotorcycles and to BMW Park Lane, but I didn’t find anything interesting.

Thank you very much and I hope to see you on the road.

Welcome to the madhouse! Try fins motorcycles and motorcycles direct (lloyds cooper) they do have a wide variety and offer good service

Hi Dani, welcome and what are you looking for? Jetstream
Jetstream,

honestly I don’t know yet, I had some motorbikes in the past CB600F, R1200S, K1300S and GSXR1000 during last 7 years, before arrive to London.

I’ve been living in London in the last two years, and I never had bike in UK. This two years have been really boring without bike, then I have decided to buy one, but I don’t know the roads, I haven’t insurance records in UK… then I will start with a 600cc-800cc bike, something like CB600F, CBR600F, Street Triple… ABS has to be a must.

Well good luck with a purchase and looking forward to seeing you on a rideout, the best way to find some roads.

Welcome to LB, try googling insurance comparison sites to get an idea of insurance costs for different bikes in your postcode. It might shock you and steer you to particular bikes.

many thanks.

Welcome, best of luck with your purchase. Look forward to meeting you on a rideout. A Jetstream rideout is always a great was to discover new roads.

Hi and welcome dani.

Welcome Dani - good luck with insurance. Try go private on a bike purchase, dealers can be a nuisance unless you’re buying brand new. Hope to see you on the road soon!

with ABS, this is a great candidate, but if it's possible I prefer one bike with fairing, then CBR600F seems a good option.

many thanks, your bike is really exciting, but ABS has to be a must.
