There were 2 Apaches flying around near BM yesterday :)
There appears to be an military/civil exercise on-going - probably ‘against’ a Paris style attack.
The SAS now use V-22 units - so quite likely their pilots (AAC I believe) carrying out practice deployment
There’s no RAF or AAC V-22 squadron. If the SAS are being routinely flown around in V-22’s already, it’s by US pilots. Almost all ‘facts’ about the SAS and what they’re doing are made up.
you are correct, there are no set squadrons. Doesn’t mean that ‘we’re’ not using ‘official’ kit. Believe me, I spent many a day at Brize Norton to know that.
The present flurry of activity fits with some plans I am aware of.
