I thought this was pretty cool – apparently the tower was specifically built to demonstrate the power of the machine.

Bet the driver had a few moments of his heart skipping a beat.
I got one of them…well the excavator, not the tower…and yes the hydraulics have the power to lift the machine of that i am sure…
We had this a few months back when someone posted the JCB climbing into the industrial skip.
Yup, it’s all about hydraulics (and the weakest joint in those).
It’s doable if the driver has the skill and bottle.
Me? I’m standing well back since I saw a similar thing not quite work out on a demolition site a few weeks back. Hence the reference to the “weakest joint”.
