Ha Toby, what an entirely cynical out look! True, but entirely cynical !

I too have been around long enough to have learn’t that it’s best to ride as you ride and that’s that, there is no right or wrong way to ride it’s entirely subjective - what’s twatish to you may be entirely sensible to me.

Best way of dealing with it, whether faster/slower/better/more inept than you is to smile and enjoy the diversity!

Hey im one of those scooter w@nkers you all refer to,i only ride a scooter as I wanted to learn to ride without gears so I could learn how to deal with London traffic,i am one of the few that want to get my full license but as my L-Plates say,I am learning, not all of us a pizza delivery boys.

Ps I always move over for big bikes,we have to have respect

why drag up a 2 year old thread ?

To get to the front of the queue!

I’m sure I give a few regulars on my daily ride reason to draw a sharp breath. It beats being bored on the underground, that’s for sure.

Some of the most daring riders are couriers, and they probably haven’t had L-plates for years…

Just because you don’t have the balls to take the opportunities other people do, don’t knock 'em? Maybe they are young punks who still have to eat their share of gravel, but maybe they are old gits who know exactly what they can and cannot do?

Remember that most maneuvers that are perfectly reasonable on, lets say, a 1000cc sportsbike, look like total madness to a car driver who’s never experienced what it’s like to ride a bike. So stop hatin’

Since I started commuting on the X9, I have become more familiar with it than any of the other bikes I have had (Varadero 125, Hornet 600 & CBR 600 FS1 Sport). It is so easy to ride and I find myself making progress a lot more than I did!
This has fed through to how I ride the KTM.

personally I don’t think it matters what people ride, most of em are just c0cks and w@nkers anyway

they don’t need a bike as an excuse
