It’s the work that goes in upfront that makes these things work. Last years ride was planned in the same way and it was a great day - as peeps have said the size of the group dictates this.
All I can see is the time I have to be up in the morning night . . . is it even humanly possible to get up that early and be at the Ace at 5am ? :pinch:
mmmm, my favourite  At least I waited until everbody had finished eating before telling them I wasn’t paying for that mush. Could have told them earlier and let them spit in your food :Whistling:
I agree with you, although i know it takes a huge amount of planning for so many bikes, its only 130 miles round north of france!
I did 425 miles down from northern ireland, with very little thought…
through the hostile territory and foreign land of the republic of ireland.
Fair play, i missed the ferry, but i still made it in end haha
oh, and dont worry about voicing your opinion, im good at that too, though i usually end up disappearing for a few months when ive upset everyone.lol:cool:
Strewth, I think I’ll go straight to Maidstone, I can get there in 70 mins from where I live, who’s idea was it to start so early ? :whistling:
Just as well that your not on the ride… mabee biking hell to yourself … but hey some people can’t be pleased … please reserve your comments as this thread can be better put to use with usefull comments,
Actually I think my comment has relevance given the opinion first stated about rules by the original poster. Guess the rules have overflowed into who can post what now eh!!..Whatever though, hope the weather stays nice and that the huge wobbly snake of riders make it to France and back safely…
this is a free site say what you want guys…weather is good tomorrow…crap in Uk good most of the day in france, so its gonna be a grand ride out…just all the bikes will make it fun…
On a serious note…sorry… I think there is a very important issue missed by everyone here…no one is taking any responsiblity for anyone, you are riding your own ride. Just because Jim has put up some rules and suggestions does not mean you have to do what he suggests…You are responsible for your own papers your own riding and your own safety…dont expect others to be responsible, so whilst it may be a good idea to follow some of Jims notes you cannot expect people to look out for everyone else. we have to be responsible for knowing who and what is in front behind and overtaking us…
The organisers are just trying to pass on their wealth of experience and knowledge in the hope that it will help you ride safely whilst following the route suggested.
