Hate to be a party pooper and all

Ok this isnt to start a slagging match so please dont turn it into one. And Im not having a go so please dont misinterperate.

ok… now thats outta the way

Rules this! regulations that! Laws posted here! what you should bring! what you cant bring! where you are going where your not!

We are still gonna have fun arnt we??? I’m worried theres a few too many cheifs and not enough indians on this here party. I know we need a few rules to make this work but lets not get carried away just for the sake of good preporation. Were all grown ups here “excluding one or two” :stuck_out_tongue:

just read my post… This is gonna cause I problem, I’m gonna be burned at the stake, outlawed, bannished to the dark region! never to see the light of LB again…

I just wannna make sure we all understand thats although prep is important lets not turn this into a parade rather than a ride out

:D:D:D:D

Why where you going ?

yeah cause I am! Its gonna be a blast! just never been one for the over zealous commander and cheif “if you know what I mean” :stuck_out_tongue:

I may be wrong but quite a few may have pillions, so some cant go that nuts anyway, plus theres gonna be alot of us, anyone messing about, ie wheelies etc is gonna attract attention, and from what i have heard teh french old bill dont mess about.

i’m sure we will get to open up abit and still have fun, teh fun is in cruising with so many bikes! tis gonna be a good ride and a good social!

you see misinterprited!

Im not talking about how fast we bang on at either. Doh!!! forget I mentioned it.

I know what you mean

woohoo! Come sit with the outlaw hehehe  just kiddin

I am already with the outlaws, nice here innit ;):stuck_out_tongue:

what did u mean then!?

If this year is half as good as last year, its gona be mental. Just to be on the ride with that amount of bikes, being around the tail end and looking at all them bikes for miles in front of you  The whole day is a buzz…cant make me mind up to have the snails and steak tartare or a ham roll :hehe:

Another thing not to forget

Let your insurance company know your going abroad for the day (if this is required ? )

ok… senario number 01

Remember in school when you were in PE and all you wanted to do was play football but the big kids spent all day arguing cos the teams wernt fair!

Or senario no 02

Back to school… Your in woodwork this time… you spend weeks designing a tiny pencil case, your dying to make it! chop that wood and nail the ****** together! you know have a bit of fun! but the teacher wants you all to gather round and focus on the do’s and don’ts of woodwork shop, no chewing gum, lets not be late, rah rah rah… Arrrgggghhhhh let me bang the bloody pencil case together hehehehehehehehehehe

think i must have read the post wrong, to have what i call a blast you can have 4 or 5 bikes, but to have 80 to 100 bikes its not, as said its more of a fun day, because of the amount of bikes going and taking the saftey of others into account there has to be rules and we have to use them, the people putting the rules up know what they are talking about, they have done it enough times. and saftey is no 1

Yep last year was a great ‘fun’ day :cool:Sherrie loves a Steak Tartare

I know, I think raw meats her ting :D:)

Yep bottom line is its gonna be awsome! I’ll shut me mouth! Hope you understood where I was coming from! wasnt being a prick just for the sake of it! just want the the line under “saftey is no.1” to read “lets have a laugh”.

Thats what i menat to post but couldnt word as well as you andy!

I got ya

Sorry about the ‘School Master’ tone of the ‘rules’ bit - but it has to be clear that to get this many bikes through the most police patrolled bit of France without hassle we have to be very circumspect in our behaviour. I had the text vetted by some of the world’s finest…

Imagine running a ride this size through anywhere in the UK and expecting it to keep together - no chance, the Police would be phoned up every time we went through a small village, and the cagers would get very impatient. That won’t happen in France, but if any flics spot us they will inevitably radio in to announce some ‘fresh meat’ for their revenue collection…

Those at the back playing catch-up will have the most fun and the best views, but if we use the drop-off system very generously everyone should get a go at all places in the ride. Note it will be progressive at the front should circumstances allow.

if you dont ride like you stole it and keep with the groups we should all have fun. Never been stopped by the old billoire in France before. Just take your docs incase is all.

When has anyone ever taken spare bulbs and a triangle! :stuck_out_tongue:
