For those planning to get to Hastings via Locksbottom the full address for the start point is Crofton Road, Locksbottom, ORPINGTON, Kent BR68NL (junction of A21 Farnborough Common and A232 Crofton Road). Turn into Crofton Road ‘U’ turn/re-fuel at the BP Garage.
Note if you’re parking in the Pelham Place car park in Hastings East Sussex CC having cheaped out on the recent resurfacing will be handing out wooden stand supports (pucks) to prevent your bike sinking into the tarmac. If you manage to get one of these most sought after souvenirs of the day be sure to hang on to it as its likely to become a collectors item in years to come now they’ve done away with the tax disks.
