Great review, I really enjoyed that.

It’s astonishing how small it is compared to modern bikes. Manufacturers spend a lot of time and effort getting the centre of gravity low but the single heaviest component is the ~80kg rider perched on top.

Look at how low the rider is here.

I saw a 1971 (J reg) three pot 750 two stroke Kwacker being exercised over the Derbyshire Dales on Sunday. The two stroker to have in the early 1970’s was Suzuki’s water cooled three pot 750 two stroker affectionately known as ‘the kettle’ (or ‘la bouilloire’ across Europe).

The six cylinder motorcycles of the 1970’s were all red herrings, the motorcycle world voted with there feet.
