Morning all, just on the way to bed after a night shoft and a stint of Dad’s Taxi to get the wife and kids to School.

Choc sorry to say but the weather is going to get worse as the week goes on with Thunderstorms and flooding on Thursday and Friday.

Had my first day on a little bike, now completely knackered! Stalled loads of times , tried to pull of when still in neutral loads of times , tried to accelerate with my right foot loads of times (been driving a car for far too many years) and basically had a total hoot. Great fun, big grin on my face EXCEPT my new helmet is just TOOOO small and I now have a thumping headache . And my shoulders are really, really tense - I have to learn to relax a bit I know, but in the meantime I’ll have to persuade someone to give me a nice massage. Tomorrow I’m borrowing His Nibs’ spare lid (the one I used to wear as his pillion) and I’ll just consign the too small one for use next summer when the kids want a ride on the back, as long as it fits them of course. I doubt that Infinity would take it back, seeing as I bought it and now it wouldn’t be new. And of course I can’t sell it either - who in their right mind would buy a second-hand crash-helmet? No matter that it’s only been worn the once. Ho hum…

Tomorrow I’ll probably be on a Honda CB500 or they’ve got a Suzuki 500 something-or-other (didn’t see it) which has a lower seat so they might put me on that. Can’t wait!
