I’m going to paint my “pub” zzr with this stuff today. Not the smooth one either…
The bike is an old dog and not worth spraying but I’m not certain this is the right way forwar. Doing tank , side panels and mudguard.
Anyone got advice on this idea?

The usual rules apply, even with Hammerite. “Preparation is everything”.
After that, just do what it says on the can. Close up and critical, it will look like sh*t, but once back together it will be great.

(Does it it still say on the can that “one thick coat is better than lots of thin ones”? Or words like that.)
Nope…looks 'kin terrible. Spent loads of time doing the rest of the bike and c0cked it up at the last fence.
Stripping it off and spraying it with car paint.
It doesn’t seem to be as good as it was years ago…doesn’t dry to a hard finish and the first tin I used had no “dimples” in it !
