Oh Woo Woo!:pinch: Gald to hear that you’re in one piece m8. A good reminder why not to going out on your own, I took a couple guys out wi’me on the BCR (before great rideout came to LB). One binned it and wound up with his bike in a deep ditch. It took 3 of us a while to get the bike out. If he’d been seriously hurt and out on his own, he’d still be there now…about 2yrs later!:blink:
I am a little gutted the field was ploughed, but cant really complain.

been in exactly the same situation once… maybe twice 
but the most important thing is… sometimes its good for you to be knocked down a few pegs. I came out unscathed from a simular accident. Makes you feel lucky as others in the past havnt been. Take it as a lesson and back off the gas in future. Bikes are awsome but I reckon I’m gonna save it for the track in the future as I cant seem to get my confidence back at the moment on the road.

Unlucky - but its good your all ok. Can’t believe no one stopped to help! I took a work biker home today because his bike had broken down and it was pouring of rain…i even offered to use my RAC for his Bike…

On my way home tonight (just approaching Kingston Hill), I pulled in to adjust my Vee Wipe (God save the Vee Wipe!) and the first bike, a moto, to pass beeped and gave me a ‘you okay?’ kind of thumbs up (thanks mate) - I was fine, sitting there with my left indy on - there’s camaraderie for ya!
Admittedly, not all bikers are like that, but that fact that some are is good enough for me.

Never heard of these so I googled it just now - it’s a little windscreen wiper you wear on your finger! What a novel idea… and it works???

Mate! I have a wiper on some Tucano Urbano textile gloves which is good, but the Vee Wipe can be popped on over regular gloves and it really works.
I use it on my left thumb and wipe every so often which clears the visor completely giving me a completely clear view of the road, if only for a while (wipe again).
