well i was coming across the bridge about 11.00 doing about 20mph if that coming off the bridge and a car on the left off me indicating left and i was going straight ahead next thing i no bang i am on the floor landed on my feet and bikes on the floor the car swung over to go right with his left signal still on and didn’t even look then the bugger drove off at speed…there’s me f-ing and blinding as you do the bike was in a funny position with cars flying around me no bugger helped! lucky its only a small bike so easy to get up by my self. i am ok the bike looks ok minus a snapped front brake leaver and a cracked throttle adjusted and the odd marks not that you would notice that on my bike any way:) lool. damage to me just a naff-ed back and a minor cut to the leg i think i was very lucky there i could off easily been a pan cake. the police was ok thou and gonna check cams for the cars reg etc… god wot a week!
now i have a custom mini brake lever lol. ah well was not as bad as my 2 last year got hit by a merc at bmm going thou a red light and fliped 3 times past the station and landed miles down the road at the bus stop. and the one after that was just going on to the north circ that was a right off rip zxr:(
well all i no is it was a blue nova with black windows boy racer type car. bikes ok thou got me home from there to a20 area. minor damage minus the pool off fuel and 2t oil on the road thats been cleaned up now:)
Glad to hear you are OK mate, hope they catch the bugger that drove off, but dont hold your breath…Get you for the congestion charge in 3 secs, get let off a hit and run…
i would have but i was on the other side off the road and the bike was on its side on the floor with the engine revving its tits off. if i was with some others they would off got the cu*t:D but i was solo just comming home from west london by time i got bike up etc they was gone…
Glad you are in one piece. Hopefully the police will recover the info from the CCTV camera’s as that is a hit and run, not stopping after causing an accident etc… Throw the book at him. Get yourself to the doctor and get your back checked out. What feels like a minor bit of pain now could well be worse.
with regards to no one helping same happened to me in rush our mate the traffic could not move because of lights but not one person stopped to see if I was ok…
Second makman on this one. Get yourself checked out by the doc. You know it makes sense. Good to hear your ok by the way and the bikes not too bad. Not good that the driver did a runner tho.
