Normally I come home via the M4 but tonight I decided to ride with a mate from work down the A40. I work in Brick Lane, so I have to come right across town.
Anyway, came off at the A312 and down to Yeading, turn into Yeading Lane only to suddenly see this black Corsa in front of me. The street lights were out at the top end and this dick came out from across the parade of shops on the other side in a very wide arc with no lights on!! (That’s why I didn’t see him until late…)
He made contact with me (not the bike) and pushed me into the bus lane, although I did keep the bike upright, and he just carry’s on down the road, stopping at the lights. I bang on the drivers window and give the arse a right mouthfull, includung the “You almost took me out” and “You stupid c***, you’ve got no lights on”… phrases (as you would).
Cheeky chav scum dick’ed tells me to pi** off and mind my own business (after he put’s his phone down). So, does anybody need a drivers side mirror, colour black, will fit a Corsa…
This is not the first time I have seen people driving without lights recently. Be careful people, they really are out to get you. So much so, they drive black cars without lights in the dark while talking on the phone with their eyes closed…
Jesus, you lucky bugger, I’ve had something like that before, but not THAT close… Cars without lights on are scary as crap, as your mind tracks it for a second, then you realise it’s coming right at you, and you brick it. Weird mind trick.
Jelster… That was too close… I had a tw*t parked in the bus lane on a red route (so shouldn’t have been there at all) with no lights on do a U-Turn right in front of me a couple of years ago. Smashed my newly resprayed Gixxer750 up completely… I was so lucky to walk away from it!!! His excuse, sorry I haven’t slept for the last 24 hours, I flew back from Egypy yesterday!!! D!CK…
You have to presume that every parked car’s going to pull out infront of you!!!

I am glad you got the w***ers mirror, I find that a sharp blow from above the mirror housing removes nine out of ten mirrors. Am applying for patent for quick release device to allow use of hammer in that regard, purely as a service tool, officer.

I get people with no lights on most weeks on the way home. You flash them a couple of times and all you get is a hand remark when they pass. Is it not a fine to drive without lights on at night?
Yeah it is, but no one will do u for it unless ure lights dont work, i.e. u forgot to turn em on. If they dont work theyll def give u the fine, and prob wont let u drive home as the car is unsafe!
heard some rumours of guys on the island/around east deliberately driving round with their lights off til they got someone trying to tell them they’re lights were out, then chasing them/attacking them etc.

as for the wing mirror…good shot dude,i might of been tempted to run a key down the side of that tw*ts car as i rode past him…show him a new meaning of hit and run!!!
