Ground Anchor

Thought I was going to need one so I made one as none on the market were quite what I wanted . Now I dont need it . Hardened steel U bolt welded to quarter inch plate with some extra washers welded on as extra grip once in the concrete … wont need it but they were there .Pull tested to 3 tons . Wanted to be able secure other things too so added 3 meters of stainless cable , its thick but its that nice flexible stuff so you dont need to fight with it like some angry snake. Stainless is bolted straight through the plate M16 sized . Could be used on the back wheel or another bike or your lawnmower . Sink it into concrete up to the ford radient red line and it should be an additional pain in the ass for any theif . Took me an hour or 2 to gather and build . Stainless cable custom cut and fitted with finishers dont come cheap . Gotta be worth £40 quiddly diddlys or make an offer .

Hmm, I may be interested. If I manage to buy my own place this year, I’ll be wanting a ground anchor.

If someone else wants it, don’t hold it for me, but interested…

Is it foggy where you are or something Rob!?

Looks good. Maybe you should make a few and sell them from the back of Triang’s Cafe Racer-mobile.

My phones camera lens is dirty

I reckon with a snazzy ad and some careful wording you could flog them on ebay for forty quid all day.

Maybe a better camera too  . I would need to sell em at 50-60 to make any proper profit . £40 is just break even price for the LB member who needs it .

Have a mate interested. How much if you throw in the fitting as well? Staines area?

Me too…

Have a mate that needs one, but there is nothing suitable on the market. I’m happy to buy it for him but need assistance fitting it. So if Conrads mates doesn’t take it I will.

I think we are getting our trades confused haha. I own no jigger, cable finder pick or shovel or cement mixer. I am sure there is someone on here better equipped than me for that end of the job. I was going to get someone from work to do that bit for me
