Just wanted to say hi from Western Canada, Edmonton to be exact. I was led to this forum by a wayward thread started by some puerile, churlish, whingeing git named Chris that felt he was wronged on a hoon. After changing my pants for some dry ones, I am compelled to join a forum that can bring that much laughter and joy to this cynical miserable old bastard.
I’m an Emerg RN that loves just about all bikes. My preference is twins, and to that end, I have an old Harley shovelhead (there ya go!), a not so old 97 TLS, and my favourite trollop, Andiamo, an 07 Tuono with almost 30 K on her odo. Yeah, I love that bike! Lookign forward to meeting all and sundry online, and p’raps meeting some in person as I am going to be in London in June as part of my honeymoon. Feel free to get in touch, and buy me and the new missus a beer! Cheers!
Welcome aboard, and congratulations on your forthcoming marriage. If you turn up at Borough Market on a Wednesday evening when you’re here you should meet a few of us then.
We do have a V-Twin Massive that does the odd rideout which sounds like fun; unfortunately they won’t let me come along as I ride a Bandit
Thanks kids! And, as Dani wants to be flying out on the 8th, it is entirely possible that I’ll be at the Borough Market on Wednesday. Look for the large sized (18 1/2 srone, 195 cm) Candian, with an Aprilia shirt on. I’ll prolly be looking lost!
Jay, I’ll post some more pics of the various rides when I get home. Been a long day in the ER. More than our share of dumbasses today. The avatar I am using shows the Aprilia on my last ride of the season year before last. It was the day before surgery to the L ring finger after I smashed it into five pieces requiring nine itty bitty screws and an itty bitty plate to put it back together. Something about a bottle of gin, and falling off the edge of a riverbank looking for a place to pee. Drunken git…
Stevie: She’s more than ok to let me off the leash a little. As long as you don’t send me home pished. 18 1/2 stone makes it difficult fer her to drag me up the stairs!
Been looking at some of the other threads… This looks like a fun place to hang out!!
Im still trying to come to terms with the fact that you;ve chosed London for your honeymoon over the Maldives or Seychelles, but its true the sun does come out sometimes. Congratulations on the wedding and welcome to LB.
