A very early designer of axial engines was Charles Benjamin Redrup, the engineer and inventor, who was born in Newport, South Wales in 1878.
Raised in Barry,he first designed and manufactured the"Barry" motor cycle with an unusual rotary supercharged engine, (below) and went on to design a range of engines, including a wobble-plate motorcycle engine:

Since last night - just after midnight 
Gorgeous dry and fairly warm weather. Didn’t feel quite too cold. Only -1C real feel factor. Today was just splendid. Gorgeous blue skies all over London.

Spare a thought though, for those suffering under the hurricane gale force winds. They narrowly missed us and hit Brittany France instead

Hmm. Really missing having a “propper” bike now (as opposed to a nice one 
). Don’t fancy doing the BCR on the SD with these road conditions.
Didn’t go for that CRM 250 in the end, it went for over £700 (with rattly engine and a load of other stuff “not right”) :w00t:
