As it’s been a beautiful day to get out on the bike, I reckon a lot of you must’ve been out and about, so just wondering who went where?
I had a little run from home (just outside Tonbridge) up to Bat’s in Biggin Hill and on to my mate’s gaff in South Norwood (just north of Croydon) and back again.
Off to Box Hill with a couple of mates tomorrow if the weather holds
Up to Aylesbury this morning to meet up with a mate (and saw some other LBers there), then on to Maidenhead this afternoon and back home. A nice 90 miles or so on a glorious day.
Spent all day doing things around the house/garage/garden. Was a lovely day and heard do many bikes out but didn’t see anyone doing anything particular so thought I’d get some brownie points in the bag incase Sunday is as nice.
Did loads of riding Thursday and Friday - so today was confined to putting a jubilee clip on a weeping hose on the Fuoco, and taking the opportunity to clean the underside of the bike and the wheels for the first time in months while it was up on the lift. Seems the ACF-50 had done its magic, all the aluminium castings came up almost like new. Must remember to apply some more…
was gonna do a post just like this! Had a splendid day in the gorgeous sunshine! Rode down to eastbourne with four mates, all very nice bikes (sv1000 - me!, zx6r, rsv mille *2!, gixxer 750) along the a22, lovely road, some quality bends!, then across to brighton. Fish and chips, wicked blast back, drink in public house! Awesome day!!
Had a test ride on the new Blade from Johns of Romford, great fun!!!:w00t:Then up to High Beech for tea and cake, met Sneaky and family in the Forest and saw a runaway horse get caught(Quick four pints of Broadside this evening and now very happy)
sweet. Whats the blade like? I test rode a 600rr yday for fun (and a competiton), thought it was a great bike but too small size wise for me so when i got back the guy said i should have taken the new blade out, was gutted!!
Loved the Blade, was very easy to ride very quickly, sounded good as well, even on the stock pipe.Did’nt want to give it back to Johns.Book yourself a test ride, you’ll love it:D
Only popped out for an hour or so, went up to Waltham Abbey and a quick blast along Crooked Mile, hadn’t been that way in ages !
Saw LOADS of bikes coming back through Chingford - plus Teddy Sheringham with a bit of skirt on his arm !
