for not having a plate…yup…no numberplate…anyways…i tried to repair it today and it flung off again as i went for a spin…coming back threw catford…i see a police motorcycle…he points me to pull over …so i nod franticly and try to find a good spot park up when he (maneuvers me into the nearest available spot…lol…)…CHEERS MATE…;).
so… no sooner have i stopped,another unmarked traffic car pulls infront of me aswell…very TJ hookerree indeedy…
anyways…i play the game and get my licence out…hand it to one of londons finest…when this tall copper waltzes over…takes one look at my bike and starts laughing…WTF?:blink:
then…without so much as a mere breath he shouts loudley…’‘JESUS CHRIST…!!!..GET A LOAD OF THESE CHICKEN STRIPS FELLAS!!!’’
i couldnt beleive it…there’s me thinking i was getting a ticking off for the number plate and theres these three…ripping the p)iss out of me becouse i havent scrubbed the sides of my rear tyre…:w00t:.i mean…they were in full flow with all the great slag offs…!!!..just my luck to get pulled over by the three stuges…:hehe:.
anyway…they check my bike out and then PNC me and all was ok…
then…as a finale…they tall cop comes over…hands me back my licence and part with the words…’‘if i were you mate…ide do a bikesafe…if not just to get rid of them dam chicken strips!!!’’…grins from ear to ear…then walks off…
BLODDY CHEEK…i would of prefer’d the bloody points to all that ribbing!!!
yea Duncan,it was off yesterday and i got a tug from kent traffic…so i decided to try and fix it today…but again it came off so im gonna have to find a perminant solution tomorrow…;).
was bloody impressed with the ushered maneuver by the bike cop tho mate…bloody effective as he must of thought i was gonna do a runner…
despite the ribbing’s tho…top bunch of blokes that saw it as one of those things…i do believe they might visit the site too after this incident as he mentioned LB after seeing the stickers on my bike…

I told you last time at Poppins you’d get a tug sooner or later with no number plate on your bike… You’re just asking for trouble. Luckily for you this time the laugh was on you, next time you might not be so lucky :laugh:
When I got pulled for speeding yesterday, I explained that I’m normally very docile and that I’d two Bikesafes, etc, etc, and the guy said “Oh well in that case, I can only apologise for giving you a ticket, but I’m going to give you a ticket nonetheless.” Doh

As for the plate… You showed me that puppy a few weeks ago at poppins in your pocket. Maybe you should ask Trojan for some of his special tape like I did
its illegal as it has to be attached to the rear of the bike…full stop…likely the police will stop you and you will have to explain that it fell off and thats the only way you could re attach it in the time…but they may still think they are serving the better good and give you a ticket…
every ticket helps people to understand that what they are doing is very very bad and the only way to stop you doing it again is to take money of you…NO IT ISNT.
