Bad luck especially on top of the theft. I had a close call through there after soho on friday but must have backed off a lot before emerging as i had been in 5th (on moto) through the tunnel… Copper in the middle of the road but he didnt pull me which i was certain he was about to.
Hard to bear mate, I’d go along with the majority here, then get yourself, your Brutale, ample strong liquour and wrap yourself up in a huge stealth blanket for a good couple a months until lady luck moves on and sh1ts on someone else’s shoulder.

TBH there are a lot of loons with Arabic plates who race up and down that stretch at night so for local residents it’s actually a good thing to have the police there.
if they did you with a laser, then surely you could use the excuse in court that they havnt been tested on bikes, and when they have been tested, they have proved to be rediculously in accurate… just a thought, but if you got a good brief, they could prob win it for you…
they could also be giving you the choice of just the three points to worry you into just bending over and taking it, that way, they dont have to prove how accurate there stuff is in court, seems kinda convienient eh?

The original story MCN picked up on was from the Daily Mail where the LTi20-20 (prefferred choice of weapon) was found to be inaccurate on cars as well as bikes.

UNFORTUNATELY the LTi they tested was of the American Spec and NOT the European spec that we use…which is tested and accurate on both.
Confusion has also set in over HAND HELD lasers and the recent story of a biker being given a ticket for the speed a coach was doing in the opposite lane (caused by vibration alledgedly)
This was a FIXED gatso based camera NOT handheld.
Finally…a lot of forces use the ‘Prolaser’ which is also tested and proven accurate on cars/bikes.
SO…
be careful if your going to battle it in Court on the say so of a paper…
Not a dig at anyone just a word of caution…court battles cost money.
